Eurovision in Basel is just over a month away. In the lead-up to the start of rehearsals, we will get to know a bit more about this year’s artists, their discography, and their Eurovision 2025 journey so far. Up next, we will preview Poland’s Justyna Steczkowska .
Justyna Steczkowska’s Eurovision Journey So Far
After taking on an internal selection for 2024, Poland reverted back to using a National Final to select its Eurovision 2025 representative with Justyna Steczkowska returning to the contest after winning ‘Wielki Finał Polskich Kwalifikacji’. Late last month, it was revealed that Justyna will be performing second in the first semi-final on May 11.
Poland will participate in Eurovision 2025 with “GAJA,” written by Domionic Buczkowski-Wojtaszek, Emilian Waluchowski, Justyna Steczkowska, and Patryk Kumór.

Who is Justyna Steczkowska?
Justyna Steczkowska is no stranger to Eurovision, where she was the country’s second participant in the competition in 1995 with “Sama”, which placed 18th in Dublin. Throughout her career, Justyna Steczkowska has released 19 studio albums, performed in thousands of concerts, as well as being a coach for several seasons of The Voice of Poland.
Poland’s Eurovision Journey
In 1994, Poland made their debut at the Eurovision Song Contest represented by Edyta Górniak with the song “To nie ja!” and placed 2nd, Poland’s best result at the contest to date. Since then, Poland has participated 26 times, qualifying for the Grand Final 16 times.
Poland selected Luna and “The Tower” to represent them at Eurovision 2024. She received 35 points in the televote, placing twelfth in the first semifinal.
