Silia Kapsis has landed a leading role in a Paramount Pictures feature film, signalling a major new turn in her career. She secured the part after going through multiple auditions and is currently filming in South Korea.
Young and talented
At just 18, Silia has already shown great versatility as a singer, dancer, and performer. Her role in the film, produced in collaboration with K-pop entertainment giant HYBE America, will push her presence beyond music.
While details about the film’s plot remain limited, the project was confirmed in various media reports citing her Instagram announcement and film production listings.
Silia Kapsis’ Eurovision Journey
Silia Kapsis was internally selected by Cypriot Broadcaster CyBC. Following on from this, Silia later went on to release her Eurovision 2024 song “Liar”.
During her participation in Malmö, Silia qualified for the final before going on to finish in 15th place with a total of 78 points. The juries gave Cyprus 34 points, whilst the televote awarded Silia 44 points.
