Anita Abgariani, the young Georgian talent chosen to represent her country on home soil, has unveiled her official song “Shine Like a Star” for Junior Eurovision 2025.
About “Shine Like a Star”
It is a bright, cinematic pop ballad that balances emotional storytelling with a polished modern production. The song opens with a gentle piano melody before building into a soaring chorus. Lyrically, it carries a universal message about self-belief, resilience, and inner light, fitting perfectly with the spirit of Junior Eurovision. Anita’s vocals are clear and expressive, giving the track a sense of confidence and warmth beyond her age.
Georgia is hosting Junior Eurovision in Tbilisi this year, giving Abgariani the chance to perform before a home crowd, a boost that adds pressure as well as opportunity.
Anita Abgariani had been crowned the winner of the eighth season of Ranina, earning the honour of representing Georgia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

They hosted the Contest in Tbilisi in 2017.
In 2024, Georgia added their record fourth win, with Andria Putkaradze and his song “To my Mom” sweeping the jury vote and receiving douze points from twelve countries. His jury total was 180, and his 59 points from the televote made his overall total 239 points.
