JJ has just released a new single called “Shapeshifter”.
About “Shapeshifter”
The song made its live debut at the Luxembourg Song Contest towards the end of January, where it was presented as part of the interval programme and received a notably positive response from the audience inside the venue. Shapeshifter arrives after a run of previous singles from JJ, including Haunting Me and Back to Forgetting. The latter was co-written alongside Jude York, who previously competed in Australia Decides, and Kristofer Strandberg, known to Eurovision fans as one of the co-writers behind Kaj’s Eurovision 2025 entry “Bara bada bastu”.
Back to Forgetting marked JJ’s first release after his Eurovision triumph, and was widely praised by fans as a bold step into a new artistic chapter, signalling a shift in sound and identity.
Written & composed by Cecil Remmler, Ferras Alqaisi, Jaro Omar, Johannes Pietsch, Marek Pompetzki. Directed & produced by: Amélie Siegmund & Julian Kleinert.
