Spanish musician, dancer and TV personality – and Benidorm Fest 2025 participant – J Kbello, is back with new music! The “VIP” singer has this week released his debut album “ANEMOIA”.
About “ANEMOIA”
J Kbello, who competed in Spain’s national selection for Eurovision, Benidorm Fest, in 2025, has released his debut album “ANEMOIA”. The “VIP” singer releases the 8 track record (plus bonus track “VIP”) as his first full length album. The record contains recently released singles “ENTRE RISAS Y CARICIAS” and “SHOKE”, as well as 2025’s “LA COPIA” and “GORRIÓN”.
The debut record from J Kbello is full of Spanish RnB and urban beats, with rap and dance featuring prominently too. The personal and emotional lyrics behind many of the tracks are summed up by the album’s title, “ANEMOIA”, a longing for a past you never experienced. Many of the tracks on the record feature uptempo, club beats and tonnes of Spanish heat, while lyrically telling a deeper, more personal story.
Much of the record was written and compose by J Kbello himself, with co-production and co-writing from Dangelo, Hamza El Hassnaoui, Besako Miguel Riochi Bokesa and Alexander Mete Pola.

Who is J Kbello?
J Kbello was born Jesús Cabello in Cádiz, Spain, in 1998. The performer started in the Spanish entertainment industry as a dancer, before transitioning to music. In 2023, he first gained widespread attention in Spain after competing on the TV music talent show Cover Night. In 2026, he took part in and won the TV competition show Tu cara me suena, Spain’s version of Your face sounds familiar. He gained praise for his performance of Hugh Jackman in The Greatest Showman during the series finale.
J Kbello’s Benidorm Fest journey
Ahead of the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, J Kbello was announced as one of the competing artists to participate in Spain’s Benidorm Fest national selection. The singer performed his song “VIP” in the second of the selections semifinals, and earned a place in the Final of the contest.
At the close of voting in Benidorm Fest 2025, J Kbello’s “VIP” placed third behind Daniela Blasco, and winner Melody. He was awarded 74 from the professional jury, and 60 from the Spanish public, for a total of 134 points. This was just 16 points shy of eventual Eurovision participant Melody.
