Nepal has revealed the date for selecting its debut entry for Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026, with auditions already set to begin.
Himalaya TV to lead the process
Himalaya Television has been confirmed as the official broadcaster for Nepal’s participation in Eurovision Asia 2026. According to the broadcaster’s Executive Director, auditions to find the country’s representative are set to begin imminently, with further details about the selection format expected in the coming weeks.
The winner of the process will go on to represent Nepal in Bangkok later this year.
Eurovision Asia is finally planned
Eurovision Song Contest Asia has been in development for several years, but this marks the first official confirmation of a launch timeline and host city.
