Australia’s pop superstar and Eurovision Song Contest 2026 entrant Delta Goodrem has released a new single. “Warrior” is the latest single from the upcoming album “Pure” from Delta.
About “Warrior”
Delta Goodrem is back with even more new music. Following the release of “Hologram” earlier in the Summer, the Australian singer has released latest single “Warrior”. The track is the most recent song to come from Delta’s upcoming album “Pure”, which will also feature her Eurovision 2026 entry “Eclipse”.
Like her Eurovision entry, the song is a big, uplifting piano ballad. The song details Delta’s journey with strength, and challenges over recent years. Posting on her instagram, Delta explained some of the meaning behind the song:
Courage isn’t just about being fearless, it can mean feeling uncertain and continuing anyway. Our scars represent resilience, not damage or weakness. They are markers of the strength that comes from experience. But not every scar has to be shown. Healing is your own journey, you can be proud of yourself and your growth, regardless of whether you choose to share it with other people. Warrior is about embracing the lessons as strengths that have shaped who we are today – wiser, fiercer, and ready for whatever comes next.
The new single was written by Delta herself, alongside Matthew Copley and Geoff Duncan. Delta’s upcoming album “Pure” is due to be released on the 6th of November.

Who is Delta Goodrem?
Delta Goodrem is a 41-year-old singer-songwriter born in Sydney. She showed promise in music when she was young, taking up singing and dancing lessons as a child. Her debut album, released in 2003, was met with critical acclaim, and is one of the highest-selling albums by an Australian artist. She is also a well-known songwriter, writing songs for the likes of Celine Dion and Brian McFadden. In her recent career, she has been the supporting act for legendary artists including Shania Twain.
From 2012 to 2020, Delta was a coach for eight seasons of The Voice Australia. During her one-season hiatus in 2014, she served as a coach on The Voice Kids in the country. Later this year, Delta is due to compete on the twenty-fourth series of Strictly Come Dancing in the UK.
Delta’s Eurovision journey
Australia internally selected Delta Goodrem to represent them in 2026 with the song “Eclipse” – a song written by Delta herself, as well as Ferras Alqaisi, Jonas Myrin and Michael Fatkin. Delta came third in the second Semi-Final of the Contest in Vienna, qualifying Australia for the Grand Final for the first time since 2023.
In the Grand Final, Delta would ultimately finish in 4th place, Australia’s second-best result at the Contest. At the close of voting, Australia was awarded 287 points. 165 points coming from the jury, with the remaining 122 points awarded by the public televote.
