The song that Aina Abdul will perform for Malaysia at the inaugural Eurovision Asia has been released. Malaysian broadcaster TV3 has released the full track “Bluest Sky”.
About “Bluest Sky”
The song is a beautiful and emotional ballad, showcasing Aina’s incredible vocal talents. The song is mostly in the English language, and has plenty of potential for an impressive on-stage performance in Bangkok. The ending of “Bluest Sky” features a soaring, dramatic, long, high note from Aina which is sure to impress on the Eurovision Asia stage later in the year. The record was written by Aina herself and producer by longtime collaborator and musical director Mac Chew.
Malaysia’s representative for the inaugural edition of Eurovision Asia was announced back in August. The selection was made during AJL: Anugerah Juara Lagu, an annual song competition, where 10 artists participated in the 40th edition of the show. Being selected for Eurovision Asia was not the only thing that was awarded to Aina, as she was also awarded the Best Performance and Artist Choice Icon awards.
