Surprise! this morning, another Junior Eurovision 2021 representative was revealed. RTVE has confirmed that 13-year-old Levi Díaz will be Spain’s next Junior Eurovision representative in Paris. Levi will be Spain’s seventh Junior Eurovision representative in the competition.
No stranger to competition
Levi is no stranger to competitions, as he won the sixth season of La Voz Kids in Spain where he was mentored by Spanish song-writer Melendi. However, before he won the sixth season of La Voz Kids, he auditioned in 2019. However, no coaches turned around. He returned a year later where he won and we witnessed his motto “Fight For Your Dreams”. Will he bring Spain’s second win in the competition? Only time will tell.
With the confirmation that Levi will be representing Spain at this year’s competition, it is yet to be revealed when his Junior Eurovision entry will be released.

Spain’s Junior Eurovision Journey
In 2003, Spain was one of the countries to participate in the inaugural edition of the competition with Sergio and the song “Desde el cielo”, and placed 2nd with 125 points. The year after, Spain managed to win the competition with María Isabel and the song “Antes muerta que sencilla”. The nation participated for two more years and took a 12-year break, where it returned in 2019, with Melani Garcia and her entry “Marte” which placed 3rd.
Spain’s recent attempt in the competition saw them internally select Soleá and the song “Palante”, which saw them finish 3rd once again, where they managed to score 133 points from the jury and the online vote.
