After the reveal of the competing artists at this year’s UMK, their entries are now gradually being released. The next entry to be released is “Jezebel” by The Rasmus. This follows after Cyan Kicks, BESS, and The Rasmus who have released their respective entries for this year’s competition.
The band consisting of Reeta Huotarinen as the vocalist, alongside Atte Ranta and Emil Korkiakosk, was formed in 2015. Since their inception, they have released two studio albums, both of which have reached the Top 15 in the Finnish charts.
Since 2019, the band has been on a hiatus and is returning to the music scene, via their UMK participation, in which they “come back with a big and new kind of sound”.
“Sun Numero” tells about love from the perspective of a repentant person, in which the band says; represents a more daring Younghearted, which sees them releasing softly rock n roll songs.
