Rosa Linn performed her Eurovision 2022 entry “Snap” at Eurovision in Concert, and Tim was there to talk with her about it. Rosa Linn will be representing Armenia in Eurovision 2022. In the interview with Tim she talks about Armenia’s success in Junior Eurovision, the story and process behind her song, and how she feels about closing the first semi-final.
About Rosa Linn
Rosa Linn is a 21-year-old singer, songwriter and producer from Vanadzor, Armenia. She is a part of Nvak, a programme run by Tamar Kaprelian (Armenia 2015) for young musicians. Armenian head of delegation David Tserunyan describes her as “a small town girl with a big heart and her own story”. In an interview with Flaunt Magazine, she mentions having the ambition to become “Armenia’s first global music artist.”

Armenia’s Eurovision Journey
In 2006, Armenia made their debut into the Eurovision Song Contest, where André represented the nation with his entry “Without Your Love”, which managed to place 8th overall. Since their debut, Armenia has participated 13 times; 10 of which they made the Grand Final. Their best result was both in 2008 and 2014, where they managed to place 4th with Sirusho and “Qele Qele” and Aram MP3 with “Not Alone”. Armenia was due to participate at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest, with Athena Manoukian due to represent them with the song “Chains on You”. Unfortunately, the contest was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
