Today rehearsals for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 are continuing. Countries rehearsing on Day 3 include Finland, Israel, Serbia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Malta, San Marino, Australia and Cyprus. First to rehearse today was Serbia’s Konstrakta.
Konstrakta’s first rehearsal
The next act to take to the Eurovision 2022 stage at the Pala Alpitour in Turin was Serbia’s Konstrakta. She will sing the song “In corpore sano” at Eurovision 2022 after she was selected to represent Serbia earlier this year.
Following Konstrakta’s first rehearsal a clip of her rehearsal was posted on TikTok. The clip showed her before and after she took to the Eurovision stage for the first time. The clip also gave us some insight into how well her first rehearsal went.
What did we learn about Konstrakta’s staging?
After developing an immediately eye-catching staging at Pesma za Euroviziju, Team Serbia aren’t changing much in Turin. With impressive handwashing (without the use of the waterfall) and towel flinging, Konstrakta is already commanding the stage. Still sat down throughout the performance, she and her backing singers are ensuring the message of the song is conveyed in the most tongue-in-cheek but piercing style possible. It’s very clearly something Eurovision hasn’t seen before.

Since their debut, Serbia has participated 13 times (10 of which, where they qualified for the Grand Final).
Their recent participation saw them being represented by Hurricane (who was due to represent them in 2020), with the song “Loco Loco”.
