The next act to take to the Eurovision 2022 stage at the Pala Alpitour in Turin was Sweden’s Cornelia Jakobs. She will sing the song “Hold Me Closer” at Eurovision 2022 after she was selected to represent Sweden earlier this year.
Following Cornelia’s first rehearsal a clip of her rehearsal was posted on TikTok. The clip showed her before and after she took to the Eurovision stage for the first time. The clip also gave us some insight into how well her rehearsal went.

As reported by the live blog, Sweden went with the “why fix what’s not broken” mantra, and bought the same staging from Melodifestivalen to the Eurovision stage, which Sacha Jean Baptiste is responsible for. In addition, the live blog compliments the camera movement, as well as how intense the intimate performance is.
