🇵🇱 Sara James auditions for America’s Got Talent

The latest season of America’s Got Talent continues to air in America over at NBC. During its latest episode, we saw a familiar face as Junior Eurovision 2021 runner-up and Poland’s representative Sara James was one of the auditionees.

An audition to remember for Sara

Sara auditioned in front of the AGT judges (Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel), where she impressed the judges with her rendition of ”lovely” by Billie Eilish, for which she received a standing ovation from the judges and crowd alike.

After her performance, Simon Cowell asked her if this was her first time in America, and made it special by giving her the golden buzzer. This means that Sara is now through to the live shows.

Not the first Junior Eurovision participant to audition at America’s Got Talent

Sara isn’t the first Junior Eurovision participant to compete in America’s Got Talent. In 2020, Kazakhstan’s representative Daneliya Tuleshova participated in America’s Got Talent, where she made the Grand Final of the competition. Daneliya even got to duet with Ava Max where they both sang “Kings and Queens”.

Sara James’ Junior Eurovision Journey

In 2021, Sara represented Poland at the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, with the song “Somebody” which placed 2nd overall, receiving 218 points from the jury and online vote combined.
