Nearly six months since Ukraine’s Kalush Orchestra won Eurovision 2022, the group has released a new track with Finland’s Eurovision 2022 representatives The Rasmus on “In The Shadows Of Ukraine”.
About “In The Shadows Of Ukraine”
Prior to the song’s release, Kalush Orchestra posted a snippet of the song on their Instagram page. The snippet shows the song is in the same folky vein as “Stefania”. The song is somewhat a new take of The Rasmus’ hit song from 2003 “In The Shadows”. The instrumental has been remixed into Kalush Orchestra’s Ukrainian folk style. The first verse and chorus of The Rasmus’ song remain in this version. In the second verse, Kalush come in with their own folk-rap elements and lyrics.
