Today rehearsals for the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest kicked off. Countries rehearsing on Day 1 include Albania, Ukraine, Malta, Serbia, Poland, North Macedonia, and Portugal. Fifth to rehearse today was Poland’s’ Laura Bączkiewicz.
What did we learn about Laura’s staging?
Disclaimer: Please note that the EBU has not released footage from the first rehearsals, and that the description detailed in this article is mainly based from the pictures and if available footage from the delegations themselves.
Looking through the performance we see that Laura will be joined by five backing dancers, who are wearing the same space themed outfits. It seems that Laura will be singing in the middle of the stage, as the accompanied backing dancers deliver the chreographer around her in the performance. In addition to the dancers, the performance also makes use of the smoke machine, the LED screens and pyro.
