What else do we know about Melodi Grand Prix 2023?
Melodi Grand Prix 2023 ditches the duel and auto-qualifier format of the past 3 yeats. Instead, MGP 2023 consists of 3 semi-finals of 7 artists. In each semi-final, the three artists with the most votes will advance to the final taking place on the 4th of February. Additionally, there will be a second chance show where one lucky artist who did not qualify from their original show will advance to the final. The final, this year, reintroduces the juries, and will be combined 50% with the public for the final result. Arian Engebø and Stian “Staysman” Thorbjørnsen will be the hosts for all four shows. Additionally, artists are allowed to used autotune during their performances.
