Eurovision in Liverpool is now less than a month away. In the run-up to rehearsals we will be getting to know a little more about this year’s artists, their discography and their Eurovision journey so far. The next act we will be previewing is Armenia’s Brunette.
Brunette’s Eurovision journey so far….
Brunette was selected to represent Armenia through through an internal selection by broadcaster AMPTV. Brunette was later revealed to be singing the song “Future Lover” at the contest
Brunette will perform 2nd in the first half of the second Eurovision 2023 semi-final on May 11th. You can check out Brunette’s song here
Brunette has performed live at Pre-Party ES in Madrid, and Eurovision In Concert in Amsterdam.

Who is Brunette?
Brunette, which is the stage name for the 21 year-old singer Elen Yeremyan from Yerevan kickstarted her career in 2019.
In 2019 Brunette released her first single which was entitled “Love The Way You Feel”. Brunette’s career kickstarted in collaboration with the Nvak Foundation, they also placed her in girlgroup Project 12 – an Armenian group which goes around performing in nightclubs around the country.
In 2022 Brunette gained more notice in Armenia for her singles “Smoke Break and “Bac kapuyt achqerd” which went viral. Brunette is also a member of girlgroup ThoseGirlz who also released a viral single “Menq” in 2022.
In 2023 following her viral success Bruneete was selected to represent Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. Brunette’s song ”Future Lover” was entirely self-written.
Armenia’s Eurovision Journey
In 2006, Armenia made their debut into the Eurovision Song Contest, where André represented the nation with his entry “Without Your Love”, which managed to place 8th overall. Since their debut, Armenia has participated 14 times; 11 of which they made the Grand Final. Their best result was both in 2008 and 2014, where they managed to place 4th with Sirusho and “Qélé Qélé” and Aram MP3 with “Not Alone”.
After two years away from the Contest, Armenia returned to participate at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest, with Rosa Linn performing “SNAP”. Rosa qualified for the final and finished in 20th place with 61 points.
