Following on from the announcement of her debut album “Sorry I’m Late” we are seeing more music from the UK’s Eurovision 2023 representative, as Mae Muller has released her latest single “Me, Myself & I”, which is taken from her debut album, and her first release since her participation in Liverpool.
About “Me, Myself & I”
In the lead-up to the release, Mae revealed that she wrote the track three years ago and worked alongside Karl Ivert, Kian Sang and NEIKED, with the latter also producing the track. Speaking to the Official Charts, Mae talked more about the influence of the track.
“I became self-aware enough to realise that I’d always had a problem with needing male validation and thinking about how I was being perceived by men. I had to ask myself, who am I even doing this for? I got so sick of caring about other people’s opinions: I went celebate for ten months, I focused on more important things. Going through that process showed me how happy I can be on my own.”
To coincide with the release of her new single, Mae also released the official music video for “Me, Myself & I”, which has just premiered on Mae’s official Youtube Channel.
