In the lead-up to her European Tour in November, things continue to look up for two-time Eurovision winner Loreen, as it was announced that she is now being managed by TaP Music.
New music coming soon
Eurovision fans will know of TaP Music, through their collaboration with the BBC, where they helped with selecting Sam Ryder (who placed 2nd in Turin), and Mae Muller, (who placed 25th in Liverpool). Despite this, it was revealed recently that TaP Music’s collaboration with the BBC has ended.
Loreen will be joining numerous artists who are already signed to the agency such as Ellie Goulding, Lana Del Ray, Leigh-Anne, Mabel and Noah Cyrus. TaP Music co-founder Ben Mawson first revealed the news of Loreen’s signing and had the following to say:
So happy and extremely excited for TaP Music to announce that we are now managing the quite incredible Loreen. Aside from the big songs, voice and insanely strong live performances, sheโs a wonderful person and excited for team TaP to embark with her on her future steps. New music coming soon and itโs special.
Loreen’s Eurovision Journey
Loreen started her Eurovision journery in 2011, where she competed in Sweden’s Melodifestivalen with “My Heart is Refusing Me”, which was knocked out of the Second Chance round of the competition. A year later Loreen returned to the comeptition with “Euphoria” where she won the competition and ended up winning Eurovision 2012 in Baku. In 2017, Loreen competed in Melodifestivalen with her entry “Statements”, which unfortunately knocked out of the Second Chance round once again.
In 2023, Loreen returned to represent Sweden, whwere she competed with the song โTattooโ, which managed to qualify for the Grand Final, and placed 1st with 583 points. Loreen won the jury vote, accruing 340 points from the jury, earning an additional 243 points from the televote. This now means Sweden matches Ireland for the record of most wins in Eurovision history.
