In the lead-up to her European Tour in November, the release of new music for Eurovision 2023 winner Loreen, continues on as it was revealed that her new single “Is It Love” will be released next Friday (October 13).
Continued success since Liverpool
Numerous things have occurred since Loreen’s win in Liverpool. From achieving a Number 2 placing for Tattoo in the UK Charts, to embarking on her European Tour, and her recent signing with TaP Music, it seems that things continue to go up up up up….
Now, Loreen is set to release her new single “Is It Love”, which is her first release since her participation in this year’s contest. In the lead-up to the release, Loreen has posted a preview on her socials, on what we could expect next Friday.

Loreen’s Eurovision Journey
Loreen started her Eurovision journery in 2011, where she competed in Sweden’s Melodifestivalen with “My Heart is Refusing Me”, which was knocked out of the Second Chance round of the competition. A year later Loreen returned to the comeptition with “Euphoria” where she won the competition and ended up winning Eurovision 2012 in Baku. In 2017, Loreen competed in Melodifestivalen with her entry “Statements”, which unfortunately knocked out of the Second Chance round once again.
In 2023, Loreen returned to represent Sweden, whwere she competed with the song “Tattoo”, which managed to qualify for the Grand Final, and placed 1st with 583 points. Loreen won the jury vote, accruing 340 points from the jury, earning an additional 243 points from the televote. This now means Sweden matches Ireland for the record of most wins in Eurovision history.
