Junior Eurovision in Nice is now less than a month away. In the lead-up to the start of rehearsals, we will get to know a bit more about this year’s artists, their discography, and their Junior Eurovision journey so far. Next up, we will preview Armenia’s 2023 representatives Yan Girls.
Yan Girls’ Junior Eurovision Journey So Far…
Girl group, Yan Girls were chosen to represent Armenia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 internally by broadcaster AMPTV. Yan Girl will represent Armenia in Nice with their song “Do It My Way”.

Who are Yan Girls?
Yan Girls are a five-piece girl group containing members Nane, Nensi, Kamilla, Syuzana and Aida. The K-pop industry is the biggest inspiration behind their song “Do it My Way”. The girls are also big animal lovers as between them they own 16 pets. Yan Girls believe it is always important to stay true to yourself and be confident when performing.
Armenia’s Junior Eurovision Journey
Armenia is one of the most successful countries in Junior Eurovision. The Caucasian nation first took part in 2007 and finished in second place, with “Erazanq” performed by Arevik. Following this, Armenia has scored ten top-five results – including two wins in 2010, when Vladimir Arzumunyan triumphed in Minsk with his song “Mama”. They won the contest again in 2021, in Paris. when Maléna represented them with her song “Qami, Qami”
In 2022, Nare represented Armenia with her song “Dance!”. At the close of voting in Yerevan, Nare placed second after earning 180 points, 110 of these came from the national juries, while the other 70 points came from the online voting.
