Just over a week to go until Junior Eurovision 2023 takes place in Nice, the United Kingdom’s representatives STAND UNIQU3 continue on the promotion of their entry, as they have been announced as one of the performers for this year’s Children in Need.
Rounding up the promotional trail in the UK
The trio’s performance tonight on Prime Time TV on BBC One, will be their last performance before their participation in Nice next week. As we have previously reported STAND UNIQU3 has already performed on Blue Peter, Saturday Mash-Up, and just recently on Strictly – It Takes Two, where they performed an acoustic version of “Back To Life”
Who are STAND UNIQU3?
Maisie is the oldest member of the group, at age 13. She’s from Essex, and when she’s not performing, she’s shooting clay pigeons, collecting crystals, or showing off her double-jointed elbow at parties by twisting her arm all the way around.
Hayla from Liverpool has a Eurovision connection; her grandfather was a backup dancer for the United Kingdom’s 1987 entry “Only the Light”. Outside of music, Hayla plays football as a striker. She’s an avid fan of both Liverpool F.C. and Rihanna.
Yazmin is the dancer of the group, with experience in ballroom and Latin dancing. She also loves shopping, writing, and hanging out with her dog. Yazmin is twelve and lives in Newcastle.
In 2023, STAND UNIQU3 was selected to represent the United Kingdom with their entry “Back To Life”, which was written by Sky Adams, Jakke Erixson and Jack Hawitt, who have written for artists such as Jason Derulo, Lauren Spencer Smith, Kylie Minogue and Ava Max, with the song looking into facing your fears.
