Who Is Zoé Clauzure?

Zoé Clauzure is a 13-year-old singer/songwriter from Montrouge in France. In 2020, Zoe competed and took part in the French version of “The Voice Kids”. In the past, Zoé has performed with accomplished French artist Yseult, as well as France’s 2016 Eurovision representative Amir. During the semi-final of The Voice Kids, Zoe performed a cover of Celine Dion’s “Je seis pas”.

France’s Junior Eurovision Journey

France took part in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2004. Represented by Thomas Pontier singing “Si on voulait bien”, France finished in 6th place earning 78 points. However, the country withdrew from the Contest, citing a ‘Eurovision overkill’. France would not rejoin the Contest until 2018. Since then, France has become a Junior Eurovision powerhouse, finishing in the top 5 in each of their four subsequent participations. France won the 2020 edition of the Contest, with Valentina singing “J’imagine”.

France participated in the 2022 Junior Euroision Song Contest with Lissandro and the song “Oh Maman!”. They won the contest once again, achieving a total of 203 points. Lissandro came first in the jury vote with 132 points, followed by a third place in the televote with 71 points
