Sudden Lights performing in the first semi final at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool, England.

The artists for Latvia’s Eurovision selection Supernova are to be revealed tomorrow, on January 9th as the Baltic nation looks to find their Eurovision 2024 representative.

Songs to be released January 9th

In a tweet, The official LTV Supernova account announced that the artists would be revealed on their morning tv show “Rฤซta Panorฤmฤ” which airs at 8am local time.

The broadcaster had previously revealed they had received 108 submissions to the competition, which will take place next month.

Latvia’s Eurovision Journey

Latvia made their Eurovision debut in 2000, finishing 3rd with โ€œMy Starโ€ by Brainstorm. They have performed at every contest since and managed to win in 2002. Marie N sang โ€œI Wanna,โ€ scoring 176 points and bringing Eurovision to Riga in the process. Latvia also managed to finish in the top 10 two more times, in 2005 and 2015.

Latviaโ€™s most recent entry on the Eurovision stage was Sudden Lights, who performed โ€œAijฤโ€. The song failed to qualify from the semi-final, finishing 11th with 34 points from the televote.
