๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ช Mustii invites public to be in choir for Eurovision entry

Belgium’s Mustii is looking for people to take part in a choir as part of his Eurovision 2024 entry.

How to take part

Mustii was announced as Belgium’s representative back in August. While his song will not be released until February, the news today provides a glimpse into what his entry will look like. To take part in Mustii’s choir, all you have to do is record yourself singing the following lyrics in a silent environment while listening through headphones:

"I GOT A SOUL ON FIRE
Iโ€™M GONNA MAKE MOVES TONIGHT
I GOT A SOUL ON FIRE
Iโ€™M GONNA RAISE ROOFS TONIGHT"

You can access the form to submit your recordings here. It will be open until the 17th of January at 23:59 CET.

Belgium’s Eurovision History

Belgium was one of the debutant countries at the beginning of the Eurovision Song Contest back in 1956. For the first edition, countries could submit two songs, and for Belgium that year, ‘Messieurs les noyes de la Seine’ by Fud Leclerc and ‘Le plus beau jour de ma vie’ by Mony Marc represented the nation. To this day we do not know the final results of Eurovision 1956. Belgium have taken part in 64 Eurovision Song Contests; however they have only ever won once – in 1986 with Sandra Kim singing the song ‘J’amie la vie’, scoring 176 points.

In 2023, Gustaph represented Belgium with the song “Because of You”. Gustaph qualified from the second semi-final, eventually finishing in 7th place with a total of 182 points. The juries awarded Belgium 127 points, whilst the televote gave 55 points to the performance.
