🇵🇱 Format of Szansa na Sukces – Eurowizja Junior 2024 final revealed

With less than 48 hours to go until Poland selects its Junior Eurovision 2024 representative for Madrid, TVP has revealed further information about how the selection will pan out in the final of the selection.

Format, jurors and guest stars revealed

As with previous years, the show will be done in two parts. In the first part, the five participants will perform a song, which was randomly drawn. The songs that will be on the draw will consist of Eurovision Hits.

The two participants with the highest votes from the SMS Votes and Jury Vote combined will then proceed to the second part of the show, where they will perform their respective Junior Eurovision 2024 entry, with the viewers being the sole method to select the next Polish representative.

The jury for this year’s final are as follows:

  • Grzegorz Urban – Music director of “Szansa na Sukces”
  • Anna Józefina Lubieniecka – Vocalist
  • Agnieszka Żmijewska (Chairperson of the Jury) – Director of the Polish performance at this year’s Junior Eurovision in Madrid

Meanwhile, Ochman (Poland’s Eurovision 2022 representative), and Michał Wiśniewski will be providing commentary on the performances. Whilst Viki Gabor (Junior Eurovision 2019 winner) & Maja Krzyżewska (Poland’s Junior Eurovision 2023 representative) will be performing at the show, which will be hosted by Artur Orzech.

Natan Gryga, Blanka Korniluk, Alexandra Antoniak, Dominik Arim, and Maja Golańska will be competing to represent Poland at this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Madrid. The final of Szansa na Sukces – Eurowizja Junior 2024, will air Sunday, September 29 at 15:05 CET on TVP2.

Poland’s Junior Eurovision Journey

In 2003, Poland was one of the countries that participated in the inaugural edition of the competition, where they were represented by Katarzyna Żurawik with the song “Coś mnie nosi” which placed 16th. Poland participated for another year, before going on a 12-year break and returning in 2016. Since returning to the competition, they have participated five times, and managing to achieve a back-to-back win in 2018 and 2019.

Their recent participation in 2023, saw them being represented by Maja Krzyżewska, with the song “I Just Need a Friend” which placed 6th overall, receiving 124 points from the jury and online vote combined.
