San Marinese broadcaster SMRTV has revealed the dates for its national final, Una Voce Per San Marino 2025.
About Una Voce Per San Marino 2025
In July, SMRTV confirmed that Una Voce Per San Marino would return for the fourth year in a row. The submission period opened in August and will close on the 31st of December. Una Voce will take place over a week as usual – the five semi-finals will occur from the 17th to the 21st of February, culminating with the final on the 22nd of February at the Teatro Nuovo Dogana. The extensive casting period for the show will take place over several months. The first round will take place on the 26th, 27th and 29th of September; 17th, 18th and 19th of October; 14th, 15th and 16th of November and the 12th, 13th and 14th of December. The second round will take place across two weeks in January 2025, on the 9th, 10th and 11th and the 23rd, 24th and 25th.
San Marino’s Eurovision History
As one of the smallest countries in Europe, San Marino made its debut in the competition in 2008 with Miodio and the song “Complice”. Since then they have participated in the competition 14 times, qualifying for the grand final in three. Their best result was in 2019, with Serhat and “Say Na Na Na”.
Spanish band Megara represented San Marino in 2024 with the song “11:11”. They failed to qualify from the second semifinal, placing fourteenth and receiving sixteen points from the televote.
