About Hello Mello
Hello Mello is a contest where 25 acts between the ages of 13 – 15 years old compete to perform at Melodifestivalen. The show will test each contestant’s vocal and performance skills in the style of the Melodifestivalen show. There will be 5 acts participating in 5 semifinals followed by the final which the audience can vote each semifinal for their favorites in the Mello App.
This can give a younger audience who have grown up with Eurovision and Melodifestivalen to get a chance to follow their dreams and show their talents to a wider audience whether that means them winning. This will be a bigger platform to help not only widen the demographics of Melodifestivalen but also new faces that could become future performers for Melodifestivalen.
