The small hall of the New Sports Palace in Tbilisi has officially been confirmed as the venue for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025, according to an announcement by Levan Djordjoliani, Head of the Georgian Government Administration. The contest will take place on 13 December 2025.
Up to 20 countries expected to take part
This marks a key milestone in the preparations for the contest, as it will be the first time this newly built arena hosts a Junior Eurovision event. With a central location in Tbilisi, the venue is expected to provide a spectacular backdrop for the show.
Djordjoliani confirmed that up to 20 participating countries are expected to attend this year’s edition of Junior Eurovision. He also revealed that delegations will begin arriving in Georgia around ten days before the live show, allowing time for cultural programming, rehearsals, and media opportunities.
Organisers aim to create a festive and immersive experience, showcasing Georgian hospitality and culture while preparing one of the biggest children’s music competitions in Europe. With the venue now confirmed, further announcements regarding ticket sales, hosts, and the slogan are expected in the coming months.
