Produced by diandian and written by Victoria Georgieva, Maya Nalani Carlsson, Beatrice Jaksch, Gabriel Pettersson, it’s a song about struggle and self-reflection. “We Don’t Get Along” delves into the complexities of conflict, whether internal or with another person. VICTORIA’s emotive delivery brings the lyrics to life, reflecting themes of tension, growth, and resilience. The chorus’s haunting melody is both memorable and expressive, showcasing her powerful vocal range.
The official music video presents sharp, cinematic imagery scenes of isolation, confrontation, and eventual calm that mirror the song’s emotional arc. The art direction, styling, and lighting emphasise the song’s emotional tension, visually enhancing its narrative of overcoming conflict.

In 2020, VICTORIA was initially due to represent Bulgaria with her entry “Tears Getting Sober“, and before the cancellation, was the bookmaker’s favourite to win the contest. Despite the cancellation of the 2020 contest, Bulgaria internally selected her once again, and she participated with “Growing Up Is Getting Old”. Overall, her participation saw Bulgaria qualify once again, where she placed 11th, receiving 170 points from the jury and televoters.
