Today, the rehearsals for Eurovision 2026 continue in Vienna. Countries rehearsing on Day 4 include Cyprus, Latvia, Denmark, Australia, Ukraine, Albania, Malta and Norway. The sixth to rehearse today is Albania’s Alis
What did we learn about Alis’ staging?
Alis’ performance of “Nân” begins in near darkness, with the artist positioned low to the ground before gradually rising, setting a tone that feels heavy from the very first moment. The staging immediately signals that this is not about spectacle, but about storytelling.
Behind him, the visuals expand the narrative, introducing figures that represent mothers waiting. Alis remains the focal point, dressed in a dark suit, keeping the attention on him without distracting from the message.
As the performance develops, additional elements come into play, adding layers to the staging without revealing everything at once.
Photos from the first rehearsal should be up about 24 hours after it finishes. We’ll update this article when they’re out.
