Cyprus’ Antigoni and Italy’s Sal Da Vinci have teamed up to release “Per Sempre Sì”, but in the Greek language, titled “Για Πάντα Ναι”. The artwork for the single contains Antigoni’s sister, Sophia, who recently married in Italy.
About “Για Πάντα Ναι (Per Sempre Sì)”
Following both of the artists’ successes at Eurovision 2026 in Vienna, Italy’s Sal Da Vinci and Cyprus’ Antigoni have teamed up to release a Greek language cover of Sal’s Eurovision entry. “Για Πάντα Ναι”, the greek language cover of “Per Sempre Sì” sees Sal and Antigoni reimagine the Eurovision 2026 wedding anthem into a greek marital dream.
The new version of the song takes Sal Da Vinci’s original Sanremo winning track, and adds a Greek-Cypriot flare from Antigoni. The song sees both Sal and Antigoni sing the track in Greek, as well as elements of the original Italian version. The original version of the song has seen huge success online both before, and after the Contest in May. Producer Trey Qua, who worked with Antigoni on “JALLA” and her most recent single “OUD”, returns to collaborate one the project. This new edit of the song could bring an entirely new audience to “Per Sempre Sì”.
“Per Sempre Sì” – Forever yes
“Per Sempre Sì”, which translates to Forever yes, tells the tale of a happy couple and was the perfect song for the Cypriot artist to reimagine. Antigoni took to her instagram to explain:
As we were creating the Greek version of “Per Sempre Sì” with the incredible Sal Da Vinci, my sister Sophia married her teenage sweetheart, Oli, in Italy. A Greek-Cypriot bride. An Italian groom. A real wedding bringing together the two cultures this song celebrates. A huge thank you to Sal Da Vinci and team trusting me to create the Greek version of this song. I completely fell in love with it during Eurovision and had a dream to bring it into my own language, and I’m so grateful that he was so open to making this beautiful collaboration happen.
The artwork for the single contains a real kiss from Sophia and Oli’s wedding day, where Antigoni was her sister’s Maid of Honour. The newlywed couple can be seen kissing outside of a white church building, flanked either side by Sal and Antigoni.
