Mongolia is the latest country to confirm participate in the Eurovision Song Contest Asia, in Bangkok Thailand this year. The confirmation from Mongolian broadcaster MNC takes the participation list for the Contest in November to 11 countries so far.
Eurovision Asia 2026 will see Mongolia take part
The lineup of the inaugural edition of the Eurovision Song Contest Asia sees a new addition today. Mongolian broadcaster MNC will be taking part in the contest. The addition of Mongolia takes the current number of participating countries to 11.
The nation of Bhutan was the first to select its representative for the Contest, with Nyendra winning the country’s national final earlier this week.
What’s coming up?
We won’t have to wait long until we find out the next Eurovision Asia representative, as Malaysia’s representative will be revealed on Saturday, August 15. The other national selections that are currently known are as follows:

At the time of writing, the dates for the selection of representatives for Cambodia, Mongolia and Vietnam are still to be confirmed.
What we know about Eurovision Asia 2026
Early this year, EBU and Voxovation have confirmed the launch of Eurovision Asia, following its initial attempt to launch the format in 2017. The inaugual edition of the competition is set to take place on November 14 in Bangkok, Thailand.
