Previous national final artists

🇸🇪 LIAMOO – “Caught In The Game”

LIAMOO is a Melfest regular at this point, making his debut in 2018 with “Last Breath”. The musician returned in 2019, placing third with “Hold You”, and again returning to the selection in 2022, placing 4th with the smash hit “Bluffin”. For the 2024 edition of Melodifiestavlen, LIAMOO entered with his song “Dragon”, eventually placing 5th. The Swedish singer has amassed millions of streams in recent years, and is busy working on new music in 2026. His latest track, “Caught In The Game”, is a rap/pop record showing off both his songwriting and performance skills.

🇺🇦 Parfeniuk – “Всім своїм (Готель Соколине сяйво)”

Ukrainian musician Parfeniuk entered the country’s 2024 selection for Eurovision, making the longlist for theVidbir wildcard round with his song “Серед вітрів”. The singer just missed out on a spot in the live Vidbir final, placing second in the online fan vote for the wildcard slot. The latest single from the singer-songwriter is new track “Всім своїм”. It’s a modern, Ukrainian rap / hip-hop track with a great beat. The song comes from the soundtrack of the recently released Ukrainian romantic comedy Hotel Falcon’s Glow, directed by Andrii Kolesnyk.

🇪🇪 m els – “Pin Drop”

m els will be most known to eurofans for her Eesti Laul 2023 entry “So Good (At What You Do)”, which made the final of the national selection. Before this, the young artist had reached the final of Estonian Idol in 2021, gaining recognition in Estonia in the process. Latest single from the musician, “Pin Drop”, is a bit of a departure from her Eesti Laul track. The song begins in a similar, slightly country-inspired pop sound, before blending into a big DnB banger. It’s high energy, exciting and just overall a great track!

🇮🇹 Alfa & Gigi D’Alessio – “Genova e Napoli”

“Genova e Napoli” is a collaboration between two Sanremo Music Festival participants, with Alfa doing Gigi D’Alessio on the track. Alfa took part in the 2024 edition of the music celebration with the song “Via!”, while Gigi competed back in 2017 with the song “La Prima Stella”. The joint single from the pair, “Genova e Napoli”, combines their musical styles amazingly, with both shining on this big Italian ballad.

🇪🇸 José Otero – “La Habitación”

José Otero appeared in the 2023 edition of Spain’s Benidorm Fest, where he placed 4th with “Inviernos en Marte”. The song was written by José himself, alongside long time collaborator Karen Méndez. Both musicians in their own right, together they make up the duo project Karen & Jose. Latest single “La Habitación” is the first release under the joint project since 2021, and is a beautiful, Spanish pop ballad.

🇸🇪 Lisa Ajax – “Trigger Point”

Lisa Ajax has appeared in multiple editions of Sweden’s Melodifestivalen, most recently in 2024 with the song “Awful Liar”, which placed 11th in the final. The young singer has an incredibly voice, and has built a career for herself in Sweden and wider Europe in the music business in recent years. The latest song Lisa features on is Austrian DJ ALIUS’ “Trigger Point”, a deep, thumping bass dance-pop ballad. She shines on this track, with a heavier baseline than some of her solo music, and more of an old school EDM feel.

🇦🇺 Jaguar Jonze – “Kawasaki Ninja”

Jaguar Jonze first appeared on most eurofan radars in the Australia Decides national final back in 2020, with the song “Rabbit Hole”, where she placed 6th. She returned to the Australian national final in 2022 with the song “Little Fires”, placing 3rd overall and winning the jury vote of the selection in the process. The latest single to come from her upcoming album “BEASTMASTER” comes in the form of loud, electro-rock-rap / hyperpop track “Kawasaki Ninja”. It’s an exciting mix of genres, and a great follow up to July’s “HALF DEVIL” single from the musician.

🇫🇮 Annika Eklund – “Suudelmien silta”

Annika Eklund placed third in Finland’s national final for Eurovision back in 2006, with the big fan favourite track “Shanghain valot”. In 2025, Annika returned to the national final stage, performing a modern version of her 2006 track as an interval act alongside Linda Lampenius (Eurovision 2026), Keira (UMK 2023), BESS (UMK 2022) and other Finnish musical icons in the country’s UMK national selection. “Suudelmien silta” sees Annika perform a big, Finnish country-rock anthem, showing off her raspy-rock vocal in the verses, and a joyful, country chorus.

🇸🇪 Albin Tingwall – “I WOULDNT MIND”

Albin Dingwall first burst onto the music scene in Europe as the runner up of 2022’s Swedish Idol. In 2024, Albin reached the final qualification round of Sweden’s Melodifestivalen with the song “Done Getting Over You”, which placed 7th and unfortunately didn’t make the final of the national selection show, but did make it into the Swedish charts after the contest. In recent years, Albin has released a many tracks, including recent collaborations with FRÖKEN SNUSK (not FELICIA’s iteration of the musical project), as well as plenty of solo tracks. Latest single “I WOULDNT MIND” is classic Swedish pop. It’s polished, it’s fun, it’s catchy.

🇪🇪 Daniel Levi – “Home Away From Home”

Daniel has competed in Estonia’s national final Eesti Laul on multiple occasions. The singer placed 2nd in the 2015 edition of the selection with the song “Burning Lights”. Most recently, he returned to the selection show in 2024 with the track “Over the Moon”. This week, Daniel releases his latest album “Home Away From Home”. Most of the tracks on the project are alt-pop ballads, with a slight modern country influence. Tracks like “Knock It Off” have a funk/disco edge to them, whilst still maintaining that indie-country musicality. It’s an exciting release from the Estonian musician.

🇸🇪 Theo – “Blurry”

Theo has reached the Melodifestivalen final twice so far in his career. The young musician, who until recently performed as Theoz, placed 7th in the national selection back in 2022. He returned in 2023 with the song “Mer av dig”, eventually placing 5th in the Mello final that year. The most recent singles released from the young Swedish star have been English language dance-pop songs, and new single “Blurry” is no different. His music is polished, RnB/pop with classic Swedish production.
