If you want to jump straight to a specific section, here’s a list of pages. Each are filled to the brim with excellent music:

2024 Eurovision artists

🇳🇴 Gåte – “Sigil”

🇺🇦 Jerry Heil – “Дві весни”

Jerry Heil is an iconic name in both Ukrainian music, and Eurovision circles. The singer-songwriter has appeared in the country’s national final Vidbir a handful of times in the last decade, and is best known for her 2024 Eurovision appearance alongside rapper alyona, alyona on the song “Teresa & Maria”, giving Ukraine one of their best results in the Contest since their win in 2022. This week, Jerry appears on a new track “Дві весни” with Ukrainian folk-pop singer Sviatoslav Vakarchuk. The track is a beauty, folky, somewhat rocky, melodic pop song from the pair.

🇳🇱 Joost – “Hate Music”

Dutch singer/rapper Joost Klein has released a range of records since his appearance on the Eurovision stage, and continues to have a huge following around Europe. He seems to have been able to carve his own lane in gabber infused, tongue-in-cheek, electro-rap music since 2024, and latest single “Hate Music” is no different. This is just a classic 75 second Joost track about hating music. Who else but Joost?!

Previous Eurovision artists

🇺🇦 ZLATA OGNEVICH – “Fighter”

🇧🇪 Loïc Nottet – “libre”

🇨🇭 Céline Dion – “Bonjour, Pardon, Merci (Bon Entendeur Remix)”

Eurovision winner Céline Dion released her most recent single “Bonjour, Pardon, Merci” back in July. The Canadian songstress, who won the Contest in 1988 for Switzerland with “Ne partez pas sans moi” has this week given the world the Bon Entendeur dance remix of the track. The new version of the single takes the record from a classic Français, Dion power ballad, with the standard of vocals we’ve come to expect from the singer, and turns the track into a club ready dance track. Céline currently remains the most recent Eurovision winner to perform entirely in French, and was reportedly due to make an appearance at the 2025 edition of the Contest held in Basel. With the news of Canada’s debut in the Eurovision Song Contest for the 2027 edition, could we see Céline at some point in future in some form?

🇵🇹 Salvador Sobral – “Bam Bam (com Ney Matogrosso)”

Another Eurovision winner features on this week’s Round-Up, with Portugal’s first, and so far only, winner in the Contest Salvador Sobral releasing new record “Bam Bam”. The 2017 winner broke records with his song “Amar Pelos Dois” in Kyiv, with a score never seen before. Salvador has distanced himself from the Contest in recent years, but still makes incredibly music. “Bam Bam” with New Matogrosso is an example of the Portuguese jazz/folk that Salvador absolutely thrives in. Give this a go!

🇮🇸 Daði Freyr – “Too Much Not Enough & Then Some”

Regarded by many as the winner that never was, Daði Freyr represented Iceland in the Contest twice, in 2020, for the Contest that was cancelled by Covid, and again in 2021, but was unable to perform in the Grand Final as a member of the band had tested positive for Covid in Rotterdam. Still, he remains an absolute iconic part of Eurovision, finally making a live performance on the Eurovision Grand Final stage in Liverpool in 2023, as part of the interval act. In recent years, Daði has continued to make his own distinctive blend of disco, funk and indie-electronica. This week, he adds four new songs to the recently released album “Too Much Not Enough”, creating the deluxe edition “Too Much Not Enough & Then Some”. It’s a great collection of songs from the Icelandic musician and I urge any fan of quirky electronica to check out the complete record.

🇨🇾 Eleni Foureira – “Pulp Fiction”

Still holding the record for Cyrpus’ best ever result in Eurovision, 2018 Cypriot participant Eleni Foureira has continued to release music throughout recent years. The singer this week features on the new Hawk record. The track is a disco, soft house and dance blend that is quite hard to resist. Eleni isn’t necessarily the most obvious part of this track, but it’s a great song nonetheless.

🇦🇲 Brunette – “ANHETANAM”

Armenia’s 2023 Eurovision artists Brunette has been relatively quiet since the release of her debut album in 2025, but this week is back with a great new single! “ANHETANAM” is a great mix of contemporary pop and RnB music, with elements of traditional Armenian sounds and instruments throughout. It’s hard to sit still listening to this one, and I am incredibly excited for what’s next from Brunette.

🇦🇱 Albina Kelmendi – “O zambaku i Prizrenit”

Performing in Liverpool in 2023, Albina & Familja Kelmendi gave a great performance of their FiK winning song “Duje”, that was arguably overlooked by both juries and public voters. This week, Albina has released a live recording of the song “O zambaku i Prizrenit”. The track is a powerful and emotional piano ballad, that builds into a full orchestral sound as the record progresses.

🇩🇪 Michael Schulte – “Cover You”

Michael Schutle gave Germany one of their best results in the Contest in the last 15 years when he reframed “You Let Me Walk Alone” in Lisbon in 2018. The singer has returned to the Contest in various forms over the years, giving the jury points for Germany in 2019 and performing during Germany’s national final as an interval act. This week, Michael has released “Cover You”, a modern dance-pop track with an emotional message. A contemporary love song, if you will. It’s a great piece of radio-friendly pop, and Michael still has incredibly vocal talents to sell this track.

🇦🇿 Nadir Rustamli – “Sənsiz Olmur”

Nadir made history during the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest in Turin, becoming the first ever artists to qualify from the Semi-Finals without a single vote from the public. His song “Fade to Black” eventually would place 16th in the Grand Final that year, demonstrating the power of the juries in Eurovision. The ESC artists and Voice of Azerbaijan has been busy in recent months, and this week releases latest track “Sənsiz Olmur”. Vocally, he sounds as incredible as ever on this new song. The track is a great example of dramatic pop that Nadir can absolutely deliver. This is a great song from the artist.

🇸🇮 Maja Keuc – “Za mojo dušo”

Maja Keuc placed 13th for Slovenia in the Contest in Dusseldorf back in 2011, with the song “No One”. this week, the singer releases new track “Za mojo dušo”, a dramatic piano-pop record, showing off her vocal and songwriting talents. This is a lovely song if you like this kind of emotional, intense pop-ballad sound.

🇮🇹 Francesca Michielin – “La mia ragazza”

X Factor winner and Sanremo 2016 runner up Francesca Michielin represented Italy with her song “No Degree of Separation” after Sanremo winners Stadio declined the Eurovision invitation for the Contest in Stockholm. The singer has remained a huge name in the Italian music scene following her ESC appearance, taking the runner up spot in Sanremo once again in 2021 alongside rapper Fedez. This week, Francesca releases “La mia ragazza”, an interesting blend of indie-rock, dark pop and electronica. This has such an intriguing and hard to explain aura about it, but Francesca sounds amazing on the track.

🇳🇱 Jeangu Macrooy – Beste Zangers

The Netherlands host entrant at the Contest in Rotterdam in 2020 and 2021 Jeangu Macrooy is back with another song from the currently airing Beste Zangers TV show in the country. This week, Jeangu took on the Zoë Livay track “lemand Anders”. I urge you to find the video of this performance. Zoë is in tears almost immediately upon hearing Jeangu’s rendition of her song and it really is quite moving. Jeangu performed the new version of the track on the famous Dutch TV music celebration Beste Zangers, which sees popular musicians cover and reinterpret famous songs. The recording is a great piece of music, showing off Macrooy’s incredible vocal.

🇪🇸 Barei – “La Isla Bonita”

Barei made history for Spain in the Song Contest in 2016, when she performed her song “Say Yay!” in Stockholm. The entry was the first time in ESC history that a Spanish entry was sung entirely in the English language, causing huge media backlash in the country. Nevertheless, the song, and Barei’s iconic performance, became a fan favourite in the lead up to the Contest. The singer has this week featured on the new Vessbroz release, a cover of Madonna’s iconic track “La Isla Bonita”. This is a really interesting take on the 1986 Madonna single.

🇧🇪 Laura Tesoro – “Hyde Park”

Laura Tesoro is another contestant from the 2016 Contest in Stockholm, performing “What’s the Pressure” for Belgium in the first running order slot of the Grand Final at just 19 years old. In recent years, Laura has had a hugely successful TV and music career in Flanders region of Belgium, hosting the country’s Belgium’s Got Talent and acting as a coach on their version of The Voice. This week, Laura releases new single “Hyde Park”. The track is a beautiful love song, featuring Laura’s crisp voice over delicate strings. It’s airy, light, pleasant and just scratches that itch for me.

🇳🇴 DJ ASTRONAUT (Subwoolfer) – “Set me free”

Most people will remember the yellow wolves Keith and Jim from Subwoolfer (since confirmed as Ben Adams and Gaute Ormåsen), but perhaps fewer will remember the iconic third member of the Eurovision 2022 group – DJ ASTRONAUT. The DJ behind the iconic wolves has never been 100% confirmed. Some fans suggest it is DJ Martin Danielle, or that live performances feature a rotation of performers. A musician in their own right, official production credits and management details of recent DJ ASTRONAUT tracks, such as newly released single “Set me free”, as well as official remix of Emmy’s 2024 ESC entry “Laika Party”, tie the persona heavily to producer (and frequent Subwoolfer collaborator) Carl-Henrik Wahl. So who is DJ ASTRONAUT? The mystery persists. What I do know is that whoever they are, they can make a well produced club-dance track. “Set me free” is dance floor ready!

🇸🇲 (&🇮🇹) Achille Lauro – “ESIBIZIONISTA (OFFICIAL DONDUP CAMPAIGN SOUNDTRACK)”

Achille Lauro represented San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin in 2022 with the punk-rock song “Stripper”. He had entered the Italian Festival di Sanremo that same year with a different song, but failed to make it to the Contest for his home nation of Italy and so entered the San Marinese selection. This week, the musician releases his song “ESIBIZIONISTA”, the official campaign soundtrack of the Italian fashion house Dondup. This is not at all what I expected from an Achille Lauro release, but it is captivating, and I’m sure it makes a great fashion anthem.

🇩🇪 Ben Dolic – “Tainted Heart”

Slovenian born Ben Dolic has attempted to represent both Slovenia and Germany in the Contest in the past. In 2020, he was successfully selected as the German entrant with the song “Violent Thing”, but was unable to perform on the ESC stage due to the cancellation of the Contest because of Covid. Ben has had a successful music career in both Switzerland and Germany, and this week releases emotional pop ballad “Tainted Heart”.

🇧🇾 ALEKSEEV – “Ти і Я”

Ukrainian-born musician ALEKSEEV represented Belarus in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon. The singer performed his song “Forever” in the first of the Semi-Finals, but failed to qualify for the Grand Final. This week, the singer features on one of the tracks found on the new VIRA record. It is a beautiful collaboration between the two singers, showcasing both of their vocal skills in a way that compliments them both spectacularly. The song is perhaps more of a throwback early 00s sound than something completely fresh and exciting, but it’s really enjoyable nevertheless.

🇵🇱 Kasia Moś – “Psiapsi”

Kasia Moś represented Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2017 held in Kyiv, with the song “Flashlight”. The singer had made two previous attempts to represent her country in the Contest, in 2006 and 2016, making it to the Grand Final in Kyiv in 2017. In recent years, Kasia has had a varied career, performing around the world and making a range of songs in different genres of music. This week’s new release, “Psiapsi”, is a Polish language hypnotic electro-pop track, with dark synth beats and a piercing vocal on top. This is great if you like your pop girls dark and mysterious with a slight electro-punk edge.

🇸🇰 Kristína – “Kým je láska, ŽIADNA PANIKA”

Kristína Peláková represented Slovakia in the Contest back in 2010, with the ethno-pop song “Horehronie”. The song was a huge hit with eurofans and bookmakers before the start of the 2010 Semi-Finals, but inexplicably was unable to qualify for the Grand Final in Oslo. Latest single “Kým je láska, ŽIADNA PANIKA” is a great piece of country-pop. A truly enjoyable, pleasant song.

🇦🇿 Chingiz Mustafayev – “Halaldı Sənə”

Chingiz was internally selected by the Azerbaijani broadcaster İTV to represent the country at Eurovision in Tel Aviv, in 2019. He made the final with his song “Truth”, placing 8th at the end of voting. Since his Eurovision performance, Chingiz has taken a journey with his music, experimenting with new sounds and techniques, and has continued to deliver exciting stage performances all across Europe. Latest single “Halaldı Sənə” is a dark, full sound with layer of different instrumentals and looped sounds. His vocal is what shines through however, and the song is quite hard to forget. It might take a few listens to hear every element in this one, but Chingiz is a talent.
