We at That Eurovision Site will be ranking the national finals in the lead-up to the inaugural edition of Eurovision Asia. The next national final that the team has taken a closer look at is the Voice of Bangladesh 2026, which will take place on the 30th of September. The National Final will select Bangladesh’s Eurovision Asia representative for Bangkok.
Who is taking part in the Voice of Bangladesh?
There are 10 artists taking part in the final of Voice of Bangladesh, and they are:

Who is our winner from Voice of Bangladesh?
We ranked the songs taking part in the final, using a 1-10 ranking. 1 being our favourite, 10 being our least favourite song. We then calculated the average of all our rankings.
3rd. Lubaina Afnan – “Dishehara” (4.20)
2nd. Pulak Adhikary – “Anari Majhi” (2.60)
1st. The Kushiyara Waves – “Loverโs Prayer” (2.40)
What did some of our team members have to say about their favourite songs from the Voice of Bangladesh?
Samantha (Dishehara): I think โDisheharaโ is incredibly catchy and has a really funky groove to it. Do I think itโs particularly captivating or memorable? Not necessarily, but honestly, I donโt find any of the songs in this selection especially memorable, unfortunately. That said, I think this could become really captivating with the right staging. From this selection, this is the only song from the selection that Iโve actually gone back and listened to, which probably says something about its staying power. It’s nothing particularly new, but it’s fun, catchy, and I like it, so what more could you ask for?
Molly K (Anari Majhi): Anari Majhi from beginning to end is filled with surprises and is not afraid to introduce new elements throughout.The opening is captivating and the vocal range of Pulak Adhiary is very impressive. The use of traditional instrumental works wonderfully for this song. It’s fun, it’s catchy and puts a smile on my face when I listen to it. My favourite of the selection and can’t wait to see how it does.
Rory (Lover’s Prayer): Lover’s Prayer is such a smooth and sophisticated song that clearly stands out among the real variety we have in Bangladesh’s national final. We have such light and airy vocals from the lead singer that are perfectly contrasted with the deep heavy chants from the male singer and the pace of the song is also just really vibey. I think a song like this would definitely stand out among what we have currently in the chosen songs for ESC Asia – and isn’t that the whole point; to be individual and stand out but show off your culture? What a way to do it with this track!
What we know about Eurovision Asia 2026
Early this year, EBU and Voxovation have confirmed the launch of Eurovision Asia, following its initial attempt to launch the format in 2017. The inaugual edition of the competition is set to take place on November 14 in Bangkok, Thailand.
