Russia’s national broadcaster Channel One has announced it is to hold a national final to determine its entry to the Eurovision Song Contest. This is the first time that Russia has held a national selection since 2012, when the Buranovskiye Babushki won with their song “Party For Everybody”.
Channel One released the information by publishing an advert on the Russian social media site VKontakte. The advert above features Dmitry Kasilov, otherwise known as the dancer in Little Big’s music video for “UNO”. It is currently unknown whether Little Big will have any involvement in Russia’s entry. The national final will be held on March 8th. However, exact details of the selection, including the artists and songs, have not yet been revealed.
