Tonight, we found out another young artist, who will be representing Germany at the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Paris, as Germany had their National Final “Junior ESC – Wer fährt nach Paris?” where it was revealed that Pauline will be Germany’s 2nd Junior Eurovision representative in this year’s contest, which is due to take place in Paris.
Three contenders fought for the win
Tonight, three songs were in contention to be Germany’s entry. “Imagine Us”, “Gut So” (Good This Way), and “Hausboot” (Houseboat).
All the contenders sang two of the three entries. Everyone sang “Imagine Us”, Emilie and Marta sang “Gut So”, whilst Pauling sang “Hausboot”. After the first round of voting Pauline was selected to be Germany’s representative. On the second round of voting, it was revealed that she will be singing “Imagine Us” in Paris.
What we know about the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest
Junior Eurovision 2021 will take place in Paris, France following Valentina’s victory in JESC 2020 with “J’imagine”. The contest will be held in La Seine Musicale on December 19th. 19 countries will be competing in the 19th edition of the competition:
- France (Host)
- The Netherlands
- North Macedonia

Germany’s Junior Eurovision Journey
As a new country, Germany is the latest country to debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, where they selected their first representative through a National Final “Dein Song für Warschau” where Susan was selected, with the song “Stronger With You”. After opening the show, Germany finished 12th in the competition after receiving 66 points from the jury and online vote.
