🇳🇴 Norway wins the 2021 OGAE Second Chance Contest

After the Eurovision Song Contest, what do Eurovision fans look forward to? the Summer? Traveling?. Well for some fans of the Eurovision Song Contest, they look forward to the OGAE Second Chance Chance Contest, where songs that didn’t win their respective National Final compete for the win. As already spoiled by the title of this article, Norway and KEiiNO won with their 2021 Melodi Grand Prix entry “Monument”.

14 countries competed in this year’s competition

With most of the participating countries in the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest, opting to select their 2020 representatives, the number of national finals conducted in the 2021 season was reduced. 14 fan clubs competed in this year’s competition, while 41 clubs voted for this year’s winner.

KEiiNO’s Eurovision Journey

In 2019, Norway selected the Norwegian supergroup to represent them in Tel Aviv, with their song “Spirit in the Sky”, which saw Noway qualifying for the Grand Final for the third year in a row. Overall, KEiiNO placed 7th with 210 points, as well as winning the popular vote in the Grand Final.
