🇵🇱 Ida Wargskog qualifies from the 3rd Semi-Final of Szansa na Sukces: Eurowizja Junior 2022

Yesterday, the third and final Semi-Final of the Polish selection for Junior Eurovision has taken place. After the show, it was revealed that Ida Wargskog will join Aleksander Maląg, Laura Bączkiewicz & Natalia Smaś in the Grand Final of Szansa na Sukces.

The theme for the third week of the season is Hits from the Eurovision Song Contest, the seven competing artists and the cover that they performed are as follows:

As we have previously reported, the jurors for last week’s show were Ida Nowakowska (Host of the 2019 & 2020 Junior Eurovision Song Contest), Michał Wiśniewski (Poland’s Eurovision 2003 & 2006 representative), Ala Tracz (Poland’s Junior Eurovision 2020 representative) and Marek Sierocki (Polish commentator at Junior Eurovision).

The final of Szansa na Sukces – Eurowizija Junior 2022 will be on the 25h of September at 14:15 CEST, where Poland’s representative for the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be selected.

Poland’s Junior Eurovision journey

In 2003, Poland was one of the countries that participated in the inaugural edition of the competition, where they were represented by Katarzyna Żurawik with the song “Coś mnie nosi” which placed 16th. Poland participated for another year, before going on a 12-year break and returning in 2016. Since returning to the competition, they have participated five times, and managing to achieve a back-to-back win in 2018 and 2019.

Their recent participation in 2021, saw them being represented by Sara James, with the song “Somebody” which placed 2nd overall, receiving 218 points from the jury and online vote combined.
