Greece’s representative for Eurovision 2022, Amanda Georgiadi Tenfjord, has released a new track in collaboration with fellow Greek singer Evangelia. The track is named “AMAN”.

Lyrically, the song covers the frustration of someone not appreciating the love they are being given by Amanda and Evangelia. The song is a strong pop number, with a chill dance beat. Traditional-style drums can be heard throughout the song to bring rhythm to the track. Evangelia is featured in delivering the title of the track in a breathy voice in the build-up to the pre-chrous, as well as throughout the chorus.
The second verse of the song sees Amanda sing in Greek, lamenting that despite there not being a need to be together all the time, she remains confused by the “hot and cold” approach her lover is taking. She then states: “Why don’t you step up / If you can’t, you’ll lose me / and that would be a shame”.
Amanda Tenfjord’s Eurovision journey
In 2022, Amanda Tenfjord was internally selected to represent Greece at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest with her song “Die Together”. During her participation, she managed to qualify from the Semi-Final and participated in the Grand Final, where she placed 8th after receiving 215 points from the Jury and Televoters combined.
