With the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 coming ever closer, plans are already in place for pre-parties that will take place next year. Now, the Polish Eurovision Pre-Party has been announced and will be taking place on April 1st.

What we know about the Polish Eurovision Pre-Party so far

The inaugural edition Poland’s Pre-Party took place in July 2022, with a host of different acts taking to the stage in Warsaw. Acts that appeared included international acts such as Rosa Linn, the Sunstroke Project and Rasmussen. As well as this, Polish acts Tulia and Lukas Meijer also participated.

This year, the Pre-Party is returning. However, instead of being held after the Contest, the event will be held as part of the so-called ‘pre-party circuit’. In an Instagram post, the organisers of the event confirmed that a number of next year’s artists will perform at the party in April:

It’s not April Fool’s! But remember this date, because on April 1, 2023, the first PRE-PARTY of the Eurovision will take place in Poland!

In just 4 months, most of the next year’s Eurovision participants will appear in Warsaw to present themselves to the Polish๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฑ audience as part of the promotion before the main show in May!

We will announce all the details later, but we can already reveal that one of the hosts will be again Konrad Zemlik, the official Polish Eurovision Ambassador!๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฑ

Statement from organisers of Polish Eurovision Pre-Party

The pre-party will follow the Barcelona Eurovision Party, held between March 23rd and 25th. After this, Poland’s party will set the bar for the following events taking place around the continent ahead of the Contest in May. The next confirmed event following this is Pre-Party ES, which will be held on April 7th and 8th. The largest pre-party event, Eurovision in Concert will then take place one week later on April 15th. The final pre-party, the London Eurovision Party, will then be held one day later on April 16th.

Poland’s Eurovision journey

In 1994, Poland made their debut at the Eurovision Song Contest, when Edyta Gรณrniak represented them with the song โ€œTo nie ja!โ€, and placed 2nd (which is Polandโ€™s best result at the contest to date). Since then, Poland has participated 24 times (15 of which was in the Grand Final). Polandโ€™s recent Eurovision participation, saw them being represented by Ochman, who competed with โ€œRiverโ€. Qualifying for the final, at the close of voting, he managed to place 12th with 151 points from the jury and televoters.
