Today, Poland has begun its search for its Junior Eurovision 2023 representative, as the new season of Szansa na Sukces – Eurowizja Junior took place. After the show took place, it was revealed that Leon Olek and Daria Malicka have advanced to the final.
Seven artists competed in the first semi-final
The theme for the first week of the new season is International Hits, the seven competing artists and the cover that they performed are as follows:

As we have previously reported, the judges for this week were, Marek Sierocki will be joined by Sara James (Poland’s Junior Eurovision 2021 representative), and Tulia (Poland’s Eurovision 2019 representative), with Olek Sikora hosting the competition once again.
Poland’s Junior Eurovision Journey
In 2003, Poland was one of the countries that participated in the inaugural edition of the competition, where they were represented by Katarzyna Żurawik with the song “Coś mnie nosi” which placed 16th. Poland participated for another year, before going on a 12-year break and returning in 2016. Since returning to the competition, they have participated five times, and managing to achieve a back-to-back win in 2018 and 2019.
Their recent participation in 2022, saw them being represented by Laura, with the song “To The Moon” which placed 10th overall, receiving 96 points from the jury and online vote combined.
