With the Junior Eurovision 2023 season in full swing, countries are starting to find their representative, with Poland continuing its selection, Szansa na sukces – Eurowizja Junior 2023 this weekend. Ahead of the show on Sunday, the participating artists in the third semi-final have been revealed.
Seven artists competing in the final semi-final
As reported by Dziennik Eurowizyjny, the seven artists competing in this week’s competition are as follows. The list includes previous participants, as well as participants of the Polish edition of The Voice Kids:
- Sabina Bednarz
- Emilia Franica
- Maja Krzyżewska
- Natalia Pawelska
- Antek Pytlak
- Kornelia Sadowska
- Antonina Smerkowska
As for the judges, Marek Sierocki will be joined by Viki Gabor (Poland’s Junior Eurovision 2019 representative and winner), and Gromee (Poland’s Eurovision 2018 representative), with Olek Sikora hosting the competition once again.
The qualifier will join Leon Olek, Daria Malicka, Gracjana Górka and Filip Robak, who have qualified from the past two semi-finals of Szansa na Sukces: Eurowizja Junior 2023.
Poland’s Junior Eurovision Journey
In 2003, Poland was one of the countries that participated in the inaugural edition of the competition, where they were represented by Katarzyna Å»urawik with the song “CoÅ› mnie nosi” which placed 16th. Poland participated for another year, before going on a 12-year break and returning in 2016. Since returning to the competition, they have participated five times, and managing to achieve a back-to-back win in 2018 and 2019.
Their recent participation in 2022, saw them being represented by Laura, with the song “To The Moon” which placed 10th overall, receiving 96 points from the jury and online vote combined.
