Hello, my name is Molly and I am from the United Kingdom. I have always had a connection with Eurovision since I was a child, I watched it with my family year after year, but the year that I remember most was 2012.
After that, I started to have a deeper connection with the contest. 2023 was a year that affected me the most and got me deeper into the community, as I saw Loreen win again live in Liverpool.
Apart from Eurovision, I love gaming, anime, K-pop, K-dramas, TV, Film and much more. I have been a writer who has studied screenwriting for 3 years. I am looking forward to getting to explore more of this beautiful community.

How did I get into the Eurovision Song Contest?
I was 12 when I first saw Loreen performing Euphoria – and I was mesmerized by her voice. From then on I began to watch every year. 2021 was the year when I took a deeper interest in the contest by watching the interviews NikkieTutorials did and I went to watch things outside of the main contest.
At what point did I consider myself as a “Eurofan”?
I have followed the contest since I was young and it’s been a deep interest in my life. I have been able to not just follow the contest but the artists within it as well. I take my time to deepen my connection within the contest and the community itself which I feel is what makes me a Eurofan.
What are my favourite Eurovision songs and countries?
I am mainly into EDM, Soft Rock and Dance music – when it comes to ballads or slower songs I have been very picky with them. Most of these are the type of songs that would be blasted in some sort of club.
I mainly go for countries such as Sweden, Cyprus or Italy, with my support sometimes going to Greece, but it always does depend on the song at the end of the day.
- 🇸🇪 Sweden (2012) – Loreen with “Euphoria”
- 🇮🇹 Italy (2021) – Måneskin with “Zitti E Buoni”
- 🇸🇪 Sweden (2023) – Loreen with “Tattoo”
- 🇨🇾 Cyprus (2018) – Eleni Foureira with “Fuego”
What are my favourite National Final Songs?
I have only recently started watching the national selections this year. so a lot of my choices come from more recent editions.
However, I have also watched past national selections as well during 2023 as I tried to deepen my understanding of each country within the contest. I tend to trend towards watching Sweden, Italy and Malta’s national selections.
- 🇸🇪 Maria Sur with “When I’m Gone” (Melodifestivalen 2024 – Sweden)
- 🇮🇹 Mahmood with “Tuta Gold” (Sanremo 2024 – Italy)
- 🇳🇴 KEiiNO with “Damdiggida” (Melodi Grand Prix 2024 – Norway)
- 🇸🇪 Marcus and Martinus with “Air” (Melodifestivalen 2023 – Sweden)
What am I looking forward to in the new Eurovision season?
I hope to deepen my understanding of each country and how they represent their cultures with more and more entries becoming more diverse and representative over the years.
I am excited to find new artists that I can connect to and learn more about. I am dedicated to getting the know the community more and start writing for That Eurovision Site along with sharing my opinions on Eurovision news with readers.
