If you want to jump straight to a specific section, here’s a list of pages, each filled to the brim with excellent music:

Previous national final artists

🇳🇴 Elsie Bay – “SAD HAPPY BIRTHDAY”

Norwegian singer-songwriter Elsie Bay is a bit of a national final legend, in terms of track record. She finished 4th in Norways MGP national final as a singer on two occasions, in 2022 with “Death of Us”, and again in 2023 with “Love You in a Dream”. As a songwriter, she also helped create Emmy’s “Witch Woods” in 2021, as well as appearing as a songwriter in national finals in Germany, Luxembourg and Moldova as a songwriter in recent years. Elsa Bay appears as a featured singer on Manchester’s young pop Queen BABY B’s newest single “SAD HAPPY BIRTHDAY”. The track is solemn, electro-pop in the same sort of vibe as BABY QUEEN or Billie Eilish. Elsie Bay truly is a modern pop talent.

🇦🇱Elvana Gjata – “Closure”

Albania pop diva Elvana Gjata has twice finished in 2nd place in the final of the country’s Festivali I Këngës, the festival used to selected the artist for the following year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Elvana was the bookies favourite before finishing 2nd in the final of FiK in 2019 with the song “Me Tana”, and again in 2024 with “Karneval”. She continues to be a fan favourite in national final circles, and has her own brand of girly-pop R&B artistry. For new track “Closure”, she features on Alina Eremia’s latest single. Eremia herself has Eurovision connections, having represented Romania at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2005 with the song “Țurai!”, which placed 5th. Together, the pair give new examples of the word diva. The song is catchy, danceable and vibey. It’s girly-pop. An instant classic if you like this sort of thing.

🇭🇺 Király Viktor – “MY NAME IS VIKTOR”

American-Hungarian Király Viktor is back with his first full length album in over a decade. The 3 time A Dal entrant and Voice America alumni has found success both in Europe and America, and has had a handful of recent singles, but “MY NAME IS VIKTOR” is the first full length album since 2014’s “3Rd Dimension”, which featured his 2014 A Dal hit “Running Out of Time”. This new album is soulful, jazzy pop, with a mix of songs in English and Hungarian languages. It’s a great return for the singer, and certainly shows he’s still got it! Is Király Viktor one to watch with the potential return of Hungary to the Song Contest?

🇸🇪 Omar Rudberg – “siren (ABSOLUTE. Remix)”

Omar Rudberg is, these days, perhaps most known for his role in Netflix series ‘Young Royals’, but he is a three time Melodifestivalen participant, and a criminally underrated one at that! Rudberg performed “Moving Like That” in Mello heat 1 in 2022, which failed to make it out of the deltävling. He had previously debuted solo in 2019 with “Om om och om igen” and before that had appeared as part of boyband FO&O, alongside Felix Sandman and Oscar Enestad, with the track “Gotta Thing About You” in 2017. He’s had a busy 2026 so far, with a single of his own, “Careless”, as well as featuring on world famous German DJ felix jaehn’s latest hit “siren”. This new remix of “siren” sees East London queer DJ ABSOLUTE. make their song even more of a pride dance club anthem.

🇳🇴 Atle Pettersen – “1998”

Atle Pettersen will most likely be remembered by eurofans with his appearance at Melodi Grand Prix 2023, with “Masterpiece”. The singer made a return to music a fortnight ago with the release of “Noe ekte” (Something real), an electro-indie-rock track, bearing similarities in sound to bands such as The 1975 or Foals. Atle has followed that up this week with latest single “1998”, which again delivers Norwegian indie-rock sound with an electronic-disco influence. This new era of Atle is really intriguing, and the singer needs to reappear at MGP pronto.

🇩🇪 Marie Reim – “Auf Allen Sprachen (Te Quiero)”

Marie Reim competed in the 2024 German national final with the song “Naiv”. Eventually, the singer would lose out to Isaak with “Always On The Run”, but the German singer has continued to release music in lots of different styles. Latest single “Auf Allen Sprachen (Te Quiero)” sees her take on latin dance-pop. The song juxtaposes mostly German language lyrics with Spanish flair. It makes for an interesting listen!

🇸🇪 Pernilla Andersson – “Rosor”

Pernilla Andersson has appeared in Sweden’s Melodifestivalen twice, in 2011 and 2016, but unfortunately failed to make the final both times. However, Pernilla is a recognisable face in Swedish media and music, having 3 top 5 charting albums in the country, as well as a spot as a judge on TV show ‘True Talent’. Latest single “Rosor” is the classic soft country-pop you would expect from the singer, and the song is released alongside an acoustic version as well as an English language version.

🇪🇸 Alice Wonder – “Da Me”

Alice Wonder appeared in the 2023 edition of Spain’s Benidorm Fest national final, eventually placing 5th with the song “Yo Quisiera”. Since then, the singer has released an array of music, including a full length album, “Soulost”, in 2025. “Da Me” is her first single of this year, and is a beautiful piece of Spanish pop. The song is a cover of Spanish rapper / singer Bad Gyal’s 2025 hit of the same name, but takes the feeling and meaning of the song in a completely new direction.

🇨🇭Carrousel – “Plus de couleurs (Version Orchestra)”

Having entered the Swiss national final for Eurovision in 2013 with the song “J’avais rendez-vous”, French-Swiss band Carrousel finished second. They have since found huge success in French and German speaking Europe with their eclectic mix of big band, orchestra, electronic, jazz, disco and piano music. Latest release from the band, “Plus de couleurs (Version Orchestra)”, sees them rerecord 3 of their biggest hits as new orchestral versions.

🇪🇸 Noan – “Princesa de los bares”

Fans of Spain’s Benidorm Fest national final may remember Noan from his 2024 song, “Te Echo De -“. Although the Spanish singer didn’t make it through to the grand final of the national selection show, the song found huge success in Spanish speaking Europe after the contest. Noan has amassed millions of streams on Spotify since his 2024 attempt to represent Spain at Eurovision, including with his single “Moriremos Bailando” released earlier in the year. Latest single from the raspy-voiced Spanish singer-songwriter “Princesa de los bares” has a slight country influence, but is an indie-pop-rock singalong track that truly feels fitting for a Spanish road trip on a warm Summer’s evening.

🇱🇻 Markus Riva – “Patvērumā”

Markus Riva is a name any eurofan who has watched pretty much all of the recent Supernova national finals in Latvia. He has appeared at almost every edition of the national final in the country since his debut in 2014. His best placements in Supernova came in 2015 with the song “Take Me Down” and in 2019 with “You Make Me So Crazy”, which both came 2nd. His most recent performance at the national selection show was in 2025 with “Bigger Than This”, which placed 8th. “Patvērumā” sees Riva feature on LA-based, Latvian musician DJ Ella’s newest single. The track is a summer-house, soft dance record. Markus Riva continues to be one of the busiest men in the Eurovision sphere, with 3 singles and an EP already released so far in 2026.

🇱🇹 Justina Žukauskaitė – “Sustojęs traukinys”

Lithuanian singer-songwriter Justina Žukauskaitė has competed several times in the country’s national final, but has yet to make it through to the final round. Her most well known entry in the selection contest is likely to be 2020’s “Breathe In”, which featured in the same heat as eventual winners The Roop. Latest single from the Lithuanian performer, “Sustojęs traukinys”, is in a similar style to “Breathe In”, but unlike her 2020 track, is in the Lithuanian language. It’s a lovely piece of soft pop, perfect background music to a chill out session or long train journey.

🇪🇪 Wiiralt – “Emotsoon”

Estonia’s Wiiralt describe themselves as sounding like ‘Led Zeppelin’ playing ‘Johnny Cash’. The 3 time Eesti Laul entrants, most recently in the 2023 edition of the competition, are a country rock’n’roll band with a small following in Estonia, but a big sound. Newest single “Emotsoon” by Balkan rapper Tommyboy features the band, and it is a huge record. To take the band’s own description, imagine ‘Led Zeppelin’, playing ‘Johnny Cash’, but on an Estonian ‘A Tribe Called Quest’ tribute band’s record. Maybe that gets close to a comparison.
