🇪🇪 NÖEP – “Full Send (WRC Rally Estonia Anthem)
Estonia’s Andres Köpper, known as NOËP, isn’t just satisfied with coming 2nd in the 2026 edition of Eesti Laul. The singer and producer has already collaborated with Latvia’s Eurovision 2023 fan-favourites Sudden Lights earlier this year. Together, the band and NOËP released “it drives me (out of my mind)” which has already amassed hundreds of thousands of streams on Spotify. But now NOËP is back, and new single “Full Send” is released as the official Estonian WRC Rally anthem. The new song is a collaboration with FRENCHGRL. It features a spoken word sample from 2022 Junior WRC champion Robert Virves, who’s on the 2026 rally entry list in Estonia. It’s big, energetic EDM / electro-pop, and is sure to rev you up, even if you aren’t a fan of rally racing. More than anything, this just shows how much NOËP needs to come back and compete in Eesti Laul again. “Days Like This” truly deserves a redemption entry.
🇸🇪 Patrik Jean – “Too Good At Goodbyes”
Patrik Jean has competed as an artist just twice in Sweden’s Melodifestivalen – and failed to make it to the final both times. But as a songwriter, Patrik Jean has an impressive track record. Jean has appeared in writing credits for national finals including not just Mello, but also DMGP in Denmark, MESC in Malta, Montesong in Montenegro and MGP in Norway. The Swedish singer-songwriter has been credited with some of national final season’s fan favourites, including “Yihaa” from Dolly Style in 2025, “Topic (Bla Bla) by Greta Tude in 2024, “Dominoes” by Đurđa in 2026 – and even as a co-writer of The Mama’s Mello winning song “Move” in 2020. Sadly, the Swede has never quite made it to the Eurovision stage, as a singer or as a songwriter. But he continues to write, produce and release great tracks, including latest single with Leo Walt, “Too Good At Goodbyes”. The track sees the pair reimagine the Sam Smith hit, and give it an electronic-dance twist.
🇳🇴 Hedda Mae – “Crash”
Fresh from her appearance in Norway’s MGP national final with the track “Snap Back”, Hedda Mae has a new single. “Crash” is a fun, flirty, summer girl-pop sound, reminiscent of recent Charli XCX or Zara Larsson records. The song was made in collaboration with Eirik Hella and Glen Roberts, and features key changes and modulating bridges galore. It’s a great piece of girly-pop from the Norwegian, and a great follow-up of “Snap Back”. It is hard to imagine Hedda Mae disappearing quietly from music anytime soon.
🇱🇺 Luzac – “Kimi”
Luxembourg’s 2-time nation final entrant Luzac is back with his next single of 2026. “Kimi” is a tribute to Luzac’s friend, TikTok star and beauty mogul Kimberly Makosso. Luzac also dedicated the song to “all my African friends, for all the strength you’ve given me in the past few years” on a post on his Instagram. The track is a different sound for the LSC singer, with a clear Afrobeat influence. The song is, as most of Luzac’s music is, in the French language and is a pleasant, summer afro-pop record.
🇦🇹 Anna-Sophie – “BABY SO COLD”
Austria’s 2026 national final Vienna Calling had an eclectic mix of songs, all competing for the chance to be the 2026 home entrant at the Song Contest. Anna-Sophie’s “Superhuman” is just one of these tracks that would eventually lose out to Vienna’s Cosmó, but Anna-Sophie still gained new fans with her entry. Her latest single “BABY SO COLD” is a slower, calmer pop track than “Superhuman”, but equally as enjoyable to listen to.
