Eurovision Asia continues to take shape as another artist has been revealed. Over in the Philippines, ABS-CBN held its selection, ‘Philippine Selection Night,’ which took place in Manila, where 10 artists competed for the Philippine ticket for Eurovision Asia, with CARMELLE winning the selection with the entry “Sobra-Sobra”

The ten entries that participated in Rhythm of Bhutan, and the results are as follows:

Philippines’ representative for Eurovision Asia was selected by a mixture of Jury Voting (40%), Local Voting (40%), and International Voting (20%)
‘Philippine Selection Night’ was hosted by Vice Ganda, and was accompanied by Alexa Ilacad and Dareen Espanto in the Green Room. The participants performed to a panel consisting of Nonoy Tan, Vina Morales, Angeline Quinto, Joane Lygo, Jed Madela, Choi Padilla, and Maestro Louie Ocampo.
CARMELLE is the third representative confirmed for Eurovision Asia, joining Nyendra and Aina Abdul.
What’s coming up?
We won’t have to wait long until we find out the next Eurovision Asia representative, as Korea will select its representative next Friday, September 4. The other national selections that are currently known are as follows:

What we know about Eurovision Asia 2026
Early this year, EBU and Voxovation have confirmed the launch of Eurovision Asia, following its initial attempt to launch the format in 2017. The inaugual edition of the competition is set to take place on November 14 in Bangkok, Thailand.
