Eurovision Asia continues to take shape as another artist has been revealed, with Laos announcing that Thinla will represent Laos at the inaugural edition of Eurovision Asia, which will take place in Bangkok on November 14.
Laos’s representative announced
Thinla was selected internally on September 13th to represent her country Laos at Eurovision Asia 2026.
The song that Thinla will perform will be chosen through Sieng Lao: The One, which will take place on September 23rd and 24th. Thinla will perform three songs, and the audience will have the chance to vote for their favourite. The voting window will open during the first show on September 23rd, when the performer will sing the three potential Eurovision Asia entries. Viewers at home will have 24 hours to vote at the Eurovision Asia website, with the results being revealed during the second show on September 24th.

What we know about Eurovision Asia 2026
Early this year, EBU and Voxovation confirmed the launch of Eurovision Asia, following its initial attempt to launch the format in 2017. The inaugual edition of the competition is set to take place on November 14th in Bangkok, Thailand.
